Codes, Infrastructure & Planning Committee

Monitors and oversees technical aspects of home construction (building codes and fees, code interpretation and enforcement issues, zoning codes as related to home construction and house design). Currently part of a public / private sector task force reviewing and updating all building codes for the Northern Nevada localities.

Reviews local land use, infrastructure and planning issues impacting development and construction. Monitors all 3 local jurisdictions' ordinances, plans, and policy activities, as well as those of area agencies that impact development and construction (i.e. TMWA, TRPA, RTC, Health Department)
